Lauren Rees

Lauren’s work is deeply character-driven, focusing on designing characters and embedding them within narratives, even though these have yet to be shared in detail. They find digital art to be their most comfortable medium, and recently, they’ve enjoyed incorporating fun strokes and textures, using more pencil-like and chalky tools instead of the perfect airbrushed style they once favored.

Plants and florals often make their way into Lauren’s pieces, and they are currently fixated on personifying objects, particularly turning flowers into humanoid creatures or monsters. This theme is a central focus of their current university project.
