Keeley Weston
Keeley works under the name 'into blossom' and creates prints, paintings, and tiny papercraft items, primarily inspired by natural landscapes and their inhabitants. Recently, they have been exploring the idea of space and how memory affects how we relate to it.
Papercraft is a newer medium for Keeley, but it feels like a natural progression from their longest-running project, where they document each book they finish as a tiny 1/10 scale miniature. There are now 70+ of these miniatures, making it great practice for small-scale work and color matching paints!
While Keeley’s work is predominantly produced in print—both lino and drypoint etching—they hope to branch out into more sustainable techniques in the future, such as wood engraving.
