Caitlin Rowlands

Caitlin is an illustrator from the Lake District but is currently based in Swansea, South Wales. Her art is inspired by comic books, with her own feminine twist. She enjoys illustrating her own comic books, having always liked inventing characters and stories since she was little. Caitlin takes a lot of inspiration from comic artists such as Terry Dodson and Butcher Billy.

She loves to draw fun outfits and poses, and interesting fashion and details always find their way into her work. Caitlin aims for her work to be fun and not too serious, ranging from drawing cutesy things like animals to action scenes. She primarily works digitally but also enjoys creating traditionally with fineliners and scanning her work in to develop it further. Caitlin would love to one day work in designing and creating comic books or graphic novels to entertain people with her own ideas of characters and storylines.
